Your Money

At Profile we like to be considered as somewhat ‘alternative’ as we like to tell our clients the real truth about money.

This is reflected in the way we deal with clients investments.

To many people these can be extremely confusing – but it doesn’t have to be this way. Imagine knowing exactly where you stand in terms of your personal wealth from hour to hour, having a complete overview of how your money is working for you.

At Profile, we create order in our clients’ portfolios. You get control over your affairs, with information coming together at the same time, allowing you to see how your funds are working for you. It’s all about transparency, giving you the facts and exact measures of the returns on all your investments.

Our Investment Philosophy

Our investment philosophy is also somewhat ‘alternative’ – it is built around the key principles of Modern Portfolio Theory, a theory which states that risk and return are firmly linked and that rational investors will always want a portfolio that provides the best “return” for a given level of “risk”. From it we can build a simple yet structurally sound long term investment strategy, a strategy that is bespoke to you.

We focus almost entirely upon developing the right asset class mix between cash, fixed interest, property and equities for a client’s personal needs and not rely upon fund managers in essence gambling with a clients money, in order to try to beat the markets. It is a client’s *asset allocation that will be the dominant factor in determining his or her investments results over the longer term, not choosing the “best” fund managers. It is a known fact that 7 out of 10 active managers do not beat the market so why pay them!

So, does this sound like a philosophy you would like to see applied to your own investment and pension portfolios? If it is, call us on 01768 840000 or email info@profilefm.co.uk to arrange an initial meeting, at our expense and with no obligation.

*Asset allocation is the mix of underlying asset classes held within an investment portfolio. There are generally understood to be four main asset classes – cash, fixed interest securities, property and equities. Each asset class behaves differently with very different risk profiles.
